The 96 well format is a common component in medical and diagnostic testing.
Conventional systems seal all the tubes in one go, using a single heated metal plate. The outcome is a significant number of seals failing.
Relco wanted to address this issue, using our system which treats each well independently.
Our machine punches the foil, holds it in place with a vacuum and then welds it to the tube in one vertical motion.
The results speak for themselves, consistently, reliable seals.
